Felice Marzocchi was born in 1934 in a farmer family in Giardino, a small village on the border between Emilia and Romagna (in the province of Bologna). As a teen-ager he was more interested in mechanics rather than in rural life.
After completing his studies, he served in the army in Modena where he drove armours. Then he moved to Milan where he lived from 1957 to 1960, working as a tractor driver for the construction of the runway at Malpensa airport.
1960
These experiences together his great passion for engines and mechanics led him to open a small workshop of 20 square meters for the repair of agricultural machinery in the village where he was born and grew up. The workshop was called O.R.M.A. , the acronym for Agricultural Machinery Repair Workshop. However, the desire to create his own production , increase in his mind.
1962
The production of crusher-stemmer machines for grape started. The acronym O.R.M.A. was changed from “Officina Riparazioni Macchine Agricole” to “Officina Romagnola Macchine Agricole”. He replaced the word “repair” with the “Romagna” word to show the close relationship with his land, the Romagna!

Since 1963, Clara has been at his side, his wife and lifelong partner... The O.R.M.A. becomes one of the major Italian manufacturers of crusher-stemmer machines for winemaking. A new building was built in 1963, one in 1968 and one in 1976.
1974
O.R.M.A. S.R.L. is born, with a new shareholder structure and with a new project to complement the previous production: the production of self-propelled sprinklers and the expansion of its markets abroad.
1980
The President of the Italian Republic Sandro Pertini awards Felice Marzocchi the honor of “Knight of the Italian Republic”.
80s – 90s
The 80s and 90s saw the achievement of important goals in product innovation with the filing of various patents and the obtaining of international awards for technical innovations and the achievement of important international markets.
1994
The second generation also enters the corporate structure of O.R.M.A. S.R.L.. Two generations working together. Different experiences and ideas are compared every day, pursuing the common goal of the development of the Company.
2000
Many events marked this decennium at O.R.M.A. S.R.L.. The launch of new innovative products, the introduction of new working methodologies and the reaching new international markets. The slim and flexible structure of O.R.M.A. S.R.L. was essential to quickly adapt to environmental and market changes.
2012
The Bologna Chamber of Commerce rewards the O.R.M.A. S.R.L. “as an example of a company that, with dedication and the ability to innovate, has contributed to the economic development of the province for over 50 years”.
In 2019 Clara and in 2021 Felice, left us forever...
2022
Accurate processing methods, investments in advanced technologies, trained and motivated staff are essential to obtain and maintain the high quality and reliability standards of O.R.M.A. S.R.L. production.
The strong vocation for exports is confirmed by the percentage of exports which continues to exceed 90% of turnover.
2023
The continuation of the energy crisis in Europe, the wars and the global climate emergency, accentuate the awareness that the contribution that O.R.M.A. S.R.L. can give both locally and internationally has never been more important. ESG principles enter into business model, processes and corporate strategy.

The O.R.M.A. S.R.L. was founded on Monday, December 23rd, 1974.
